The Buildings named “Emiciclo” and “ex G.I. Maschile”, today headquarter of the Presidency Council and the Regione Abruzzo’s Offices, form an articulated complex of remarkable historical relevance. The complex formed from the union of three different buildings, realized douring four different CENTURIES: 1) The Monastery of St. Michael the Archangel and the infirmary built by the Capuchin Friarsin the first three decades of the seventeenth century. 2) the Table of the House or Palace of the Italian youth of Littorio (GIL) Sector Male, built between 1929 and 1932 on the design of the Engineer Luigi Cardilli . 3) The new offices for local authority, built between 1979 and 1984 on the area of the Ancient Church “Santi Quattro”. In the same period the “Emiciclo” Palace was renovated while the “GIL” Palace was subject to the Restructuring Works only in 1998,to host the President of the local authority.
